Everything We Know About Fortnite Chapter 3

By Admin | 13 December,2021 | 7 minutes, 6 sec

Copied

Epic Games' Fortnite is an online video game published in 2017. Fortnite comes in three different game modes, all of which share the same basic gameplay and game engine. First is Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative hybrid-tower defense-shooter-survival game for up to four players fighting off zombie-like creatures and defending objects with traps and barricades. Second is Fortnite Battle Royale, a free-to-play battle royale game in which up to 100 players compete to be the last person standing, and the previous is Fortnite Creative, in which players have complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas. Early access titles Save the World and Battle Royale were launched in 2017, while Creative was released on December 6, 2018.

Fortnite next season, Fortnite chapter 3, is officially here, after weeks of leaks and teases. This new version, titled Fortnite Chapter 3 Flipped, includes many improvements in terms of gameplay and aesthetically and narratively. Because it's a fresh chapter, there's a lot to learn, so even if you've played before. While the game is fundamentally the same, there's enough new content here to keep things interesting, especially with the addition of a fan-favorite Marvel hero.

The story goes on.

A lot happened towards the end of Fortnite chapter 2, and it all concluded with Jonsey tossing the Cube Queen into the water. Oh, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's voiced character also played a crucial role in saving the day. The entire Fortnite island was turned in the process, introducing the new aim of breaking The Loop. It's unclear how this will play out, but you'll undoubtedly run into some familiar characters during the chapter.

New Fortnite map

One of the most visible changes in fornite Chapter 3, as indicated in the fornite event, is that now most of the map is covered in snow. Of course, because it's winter in real life, this makes sense. There are even bushes with Christmas lights on them, which will most likely remain for the length of season 1. Surprisingly, most of the island is covered in snow, obscuring a miniature desert and grassland biomes on the map's borders. Throughout the chapter, expect various weather, including tornadoes and even lightning. The new chapter 3 map contains structural changes in addition to cosmetic changes.

The map has new places and biomes, but the entire map has been flipped, giving the game the title Fortnite Chapter 3 Flipped. This is a significant change, in contrast to what generally occurs when a new season begins. The map usually includes several new sections, but the island's overall layout is preserved. Even if you've played Fortnite before, you'll need to readjust yourself this time.

New hub areas in the fornite chapter include:

  • Camp Cuddle

  • Logjam Lumberyard

  • Shifty Shafts

  • Sleepy Sound

  • Coney Crossroads

  • The Daily Bugle building

  • Sanctuary

  • The Joneses

  • Condo Canyon

  • Conker's Speedway

  • Rocky Reels

  • Greasy Grooves

Excellent new gameplay mechanics

The map is not the only new feature in Chapter 3 of Fortnite. Epic Games appears to be taking inspiration from Call of Duty by allowing players to slide around to avoid enemy fire and swiftly take cover. You may slide and fire your weapon simultaneously, just as in other shooters, which is ideal for those who prefer to multitask. Another great new feature with the MK-Seven assault weapon is aiming down sights (ADS), which makes it feel like a first-person shooter. This may not sound like a significant problem, but because Fortnite is usually played in third-person, ADS drastically impacts the pace. You'll also be able to wear Spider-web-shooters, allowing you to swing about the map. On December 11, this will go live.

Another new feature is the ability to heal by setting up a camp. Throughout the game, you can collect objects that will allow you to build a tent for your team to hide in, allowing you to regenerate health and store supplies. Pack up the tent and relocate it to a new location when you're done.

A more modern arsenal

Fortnite chapter 3 includes a more extensive variety of weaponry, ranging from assault rifles to shotguns and SMGs, as expected. This weaponry is more analogous to those in a modern military shooter than the futuristic weapons shown in recent seasons of Fortnite.

The following is a complete list of Chapter 3 weapons:

  • Ranger Assault Rifle

  • MK-Seven Assault Rifle

  • Striker Pump Shotgun

  • Auto Shotgun

  • Stinger SMG

  • Sidearm Pistol

  • Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper

Spiderman

Spider-Man is the headliner of Fortnite chapter 3, as you've undoubtedly seen in the teasers. Oddly, the web-slinger hasn't made an appearance in the game yet, but what better way to start a season than with one of history's most renowned heroes? And since Epic Games wants you to spend money, tying Spider-Man to the battle pass is a great move. The problem is that Spider-Man is locked on page nine of the battle pass, which means you'll have to wait until you've reached level 80, which will take some time. Spider-Man will be able to swing across the map, and from what we've seen so far, it looks surprisingly great.

Fortnite now uses the stars system, which allows you to unlock items in a non-linear sequence. You'll need to pay nine stars to unlock the webhead's clothing after you reach page nine. The Black Symbiote Suit Spider-Man, the final gear on page 10 of the battle pass and requires level 90 to obtain, is much better. It'll not be easy, but that suit is quite attractive. Other Spider-Man goods, including back blings, emotes, sprays, and banners, can be unlocked during the battle pass.

You can earn XP and bragging rights in more ways.

As always, XP is the name of the game, and you'll be able to gain it in both the creative mode and the traditional battle royale during Chapter 3. This will provide gamers far more choice and incentive to play as they like, rather than feeling confined to a single mode.

The installation of the desired crown is a new feature this time around. You'll start the next battle royale fight with a crown on your head if you place "well enough" in the previous one, suggesting that you're a good player. You must finish in the top four in Solos, top two in Duos, and first in Trios and Squads to win a crown. At the same time, this is a terrific way to gain some bragging rights, the crown sparkles and makes you stand out, making you a target for other players.

Here are some more Fortnite Chapter 3 gameplay changes:

  • New weapons and equipment have been added, including a Slurp Juice sprinkler that can be used to splatter your friends.

  • Players can earn and possibly maintain a "Victory Crown" that they can wear between bouts.

  • Sharks, wolves, hens, toads, boars, and crows are among the wildlife species that return in "Guzzle Juice."

  • The Quadcrusher ATV makes a comeback.

  • The healing item "Medmist Assist."

Is Fortnite on pc?

Fortnite is currently available on the Mac, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One (S, X, Series X or S), Nintendo Switch, and Android platforms. Fortnite is no longer available on the App Store due to an ongoing legal conflict between Apple and Epic Games. However, you can still play it via Nvidia's GeForce Now game streaming technology. The Save the World function is not available on mobile devices or the Nintendo Switch.

You can download Fortnite easily on these platforms. You can visit the Fortnite items shop and check the Fortnite tracker, Fortnite skins, and other Fortnite characters.
